The previously anticipated return of Jurassic Park to the big screen next year will be happening a ;lot sooner than expected, as Universal has now announced that the return of the genetically engineered giants will hit theaters and IMAX cinemas April 5th of next year (2013) instead of the previous set date of July 19 2013.

The 3D remaster of Steven Spielberg’s classic Jurassic Park will open in conventional theatres and IMAX on Apr 5, moving up from the original Jul 19 slot.
