As a Jurassic Park fan, when I recently discovered that the domain for jurassicpark4-movie.com was available, I bought it with the goal of recreating some of its content from archived pages. I definitely didn't want someone else purchasing the domain and re-purposing it for something that had nothing in common with the Jurassic Park movies. So if you happen to come across this site enjoy a nostalgic read of content taken from the site’s archived pages.
Where were you when Jurassic World (Jurassic Park 4) was released? I happened to be relaxing at a gorgeous Maui vacation rental overlooking the western coastline of this exotic tropical island. Although there were no theaters showing the movie on Maui, the tropical rainforests, and the strange alien landscape of the Haleakala Crater certainly would have been perfect locations for dinosaurs from Jurassic Park. I made up "scary" stories for my kids as we hiked a rainforest trail to the Makahiku Falls on Maui. And when we took a sightseeing helicopter ride over Maui the kids imagined that they were flying over Jurassic Park searching for dinosaurs. It was great fun. And we did end up seeing Jurassic World as soon as we arrived back in New York City.

Editor's note: Upon the initial release of jurassicpark4-movie.com, the website's rankings in Google search results unexpectedly plummeted. A loss of ranks can be a grave and potentially existential issue for sites, as it severely hampers their online visibility and ability to attract an audience. In response to this crisis, we reached out to Bob Sakayama, Google penalty expert with an extensive track record in the field. Bob discovered that our site was being targeted by a 3rd party attack using link spam, which was undermining our search engine rankings. With his vast experience of over a decade in recovering websites from rank loss, Bob identified the problematic links and submitted a link disavow request to Google. This crucial intervention from the market leader in Google penalty remediation successfully restored our site's rankings, for which we are immensely grateful.

Dilophosaurus was a more or less exaggerated antagonist for Jurassic Park. I don't think it got enough screen time, and the whole frill/venom/rattlesnake hissing thing was a little much. I wish they had had Dilo hunting another dinosaur or at least running around a little bit, instead of standing around and then randomly attacking a fat guy in the rain. They wasted the potential of Dilo to be a more cunning predator. Other than all this, I did enjoy it's appearance in JP. They should definitely bring it back for JPIV! Maybe it could appear hunting some Compy's or maybe a lone raptor, then get ambushed by a bunch of other raptors.

Frank Marshall Answers To Jurassic Park 4 Rumors
Author: Chris Picard | Mar-03-2013 12:51 PM
Earlier this past month, many Jurassic Park 4 rumors started circulating around the net from one particular source who claimed to be potentially involved with the project. The rumors suggested Jurassic Park 4's $200M+ budget and production time estimates. A few days ago, Jurassic Park 4 Producer, Frank Marshall commented via Twitter about the rumors, simply saying:
"No truth to those rumors." - @LeDoctor / Twitter
As we suggested upon our initial posts about these rumors, they had to be taken with a grain of salt, and it would seem our skepticism paid off.
The roller coaster of Jurassic Park 4 rumors has been ongoing ever since Jurassic Park 3 was released and don't expect it to slow down until the studio and/or producers make any official announcements.
With these rumors put to rest, now we can eagerly await the announcement of a Director for the project! With a projected June 13th, 2014 release date, the team behind Jurassic Park 4 don't have much time to waste now if they plan to deliver a fully polished Jurassic Park installment which meets the expectations of hungry fans.

Ratorex in Jurassic Park 4? New Dinosaurs Discovered!

Ratorex in Jurassic Park 4? New Dinosaurs Discovered!
Author: Chris Picard | Feb-28-2013 2:50 PM
With Jurassic Park 4 under way, we can't help but wonder what new Dinosaurs we might see in the new film. Since Jurassic Park 3's release, dig teams all over the world have uncovered some new and exotic Dinosaur remains which could very well be featured in the upcoming Jurassic Park 4.
One of these latest discoveries has my inner-kid going berserk. It's a cross between a Velociraptor and a Tyrannosaurus Rex which scientists have properly named "Raptorex". I know, too good to be true. The two most iconic Dinosaurs form the Jurassic Park franchise merged into one, deadly Dinosaur. Raptorex is larger than Velociraptor and shares the same characteristics as T-Rex, ie. short, two clawed front limbs.
Another Dinosaur which has since been discovered, is a towering Herbivore, named Sauroposeidon, which is about twice the size and weight of a Brachiosaurus. This Herbivore could very well be the largest Dinosaur of all time.
ther new DInosaurs discovered since JP3 include: Dracorex, Jeholopterus, Sinornithosaurus, Gigantoraptor and Microraptor.
Another factor which seems to be the consensus among Paleontologists is that Dinosaurs did in fact have feathers covering their bodies. So, we may very well see a very colorful T-Rex, covered in feathers in Jurassic Park 4 along with the Raptors and, if they decide to include it, Raptorex.
So what do you think of both the inclusion of Raptorex and the strong possibility that the Dinosaurs featured in Jurassic Park 4 will in fact sport a feathered look?

Laura Dern Talks Jurassic Park 4
JURASSIC PARK 4 MOVIE NEWS | FEB-25-2013 1:01 PM
Will Laura Dern reprise her role as Dr. Ellie Sattler in Jurassic Park 4?
Laura recently had a short interview with IFC last night and answered some burning questions us fans have been wondering ever since Jurassic Park 4 was officially announced as 'in production'. Below are excerpts of what Dern had to say about her potential involvement in the fourth Jurassic Park film:
"I know a little and it's been ever-changing. It's been evolving for many years as Steven has been considering it so that's all I can say right now," Dern told IFC on the Spirit Awards red carpet. "But very excited about the original 'Jurassic Park' coming out in 3D this summer. I'm going to see it soon, which will be very interesting."
Upon IFC asking about if she wants to return to star in Jurassic Park 4, Laura jokingly replied:
"Oh, I don't know. We'll see what they do. Right now we're just focused on our party of this summer,"
So, although no solid confirmation of her involvement in the fourth Jurassic Park, it's nice to know the interviews are starting to pop up with the original cast.
Laura Dern is currently busy promoting her new TV series, Enlightened. But let's hope she would consider returning to Jurassic Park, because as most JP fans have articulated, Jurassic Park wouldn't be Jurassic Park without at least some of the familiar faces from the original trilogy.
Stay tuned to JurassicPark4-Movie.com for more interviews and news on Jurassic Park 4. Hopefully next we'll hear from Sam Neill or Jeff Goldblum about their potential return to the Jurassic Park franchise!
So, how would you feel about Laura Dern returning for Jurassic Park 4? What other original cast would you like to see come back for the fourth installment in the JP franchise? Let us know by commenting below or by posting in the Jurassic Park 4 Online COmmunity Forum, or on Facebook and Twitter!

Jurassic Park 4 Production Details and Budget Rumored

Budget Rumored
Author: Chris Picard | Feb-24-2013 6:52 PM
With the recent rumors of Jurassic Park 4 being filmed in Louisiana still unconfirmed, this 'news' should also be taken with a grain of salt. The same person responsible for mentioning the first rumor of Jurassic Park 4's filming location is also claiming to have insider information about the film's production time and budget. Here's the direct quote the user made:
This just in: the next movie I might very well be working on will be 'Jurassic Park 4' to be shot in Baton Rouge at Celtic Studios (where we did 'Battleship' & 'Oblivion'. They say it will be a 9 month gig with a 200+ million dollar budget. Sounds good to me and it should be starting about the time 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' ends which is even better. "
A 200+ Million dollar budget is quite steep in comparison to the previous Jurassic Park film which only cost the studio a little over 90 Million dollars. If this rumor turns out to be true, we can expect a very large scale Jurassic Park come back with the fourth installment. However, we remain skeptical.
We have reached out to Universal Studios for any confirmation and/or clarification on the matter, but we have yet to receive any word back. We will of course update this article with any official leads we do receive and will be sure to inform you all regardless if this rumor turns out to be true or false. In the mean time, feel free to discuss this possibility of a 200+ Million dollar Jurassic Park 4 in the comments section below or in the Jurassic Park 4 Online Community Forum!

200 million? that seems quite exaggerated unless this is going to be the best jurassic park yet, but with no leaked script we can only hope this is going to be the most Kick-Ass jurassic park ever

Wow! That is a pretty hefty price. The skeptic approach is probably the right one, but to actually make this they have to go all out. Fans really want something as close to the original as possible and they will have to do a hell of a lot to give us that. Mainly due to our praise of the first, but still. I hope this is pretty much true because i want this to really get rolling(even though they have a while to complete it)

More Background On JurassicPark4-Movie.com
JurassicPark4-Movie.com is a fan-driven website dedicated to the long-anticipated fourth installment in the legendary Jurassic Park film franchise. During the years between Jurassic Park III (2001) and the eventual release of Jurassic World (2015), speculation about the continuation of the dinosaur saga intensified among fans and film journalists alike. JurassicPark4-Movie.com emerged during this period as a niche hub where enthusiasts could follow news, rumors, casting discussions, and production updates related to what was then commonly called Jurassic Park 4.
The site operated primarily as a fan community and information resource. It aggregated industry news, rumors circulating across entertainment media, interviews with cast members, and speculation about plot developments. The platform also encouraged interaction through comments and discussions, allowing visitors to debate possible storylines, dinosaur species, and returning characters. Over time, JurassicPark4-Movie.com became part of the broader ecosystem of online fandom surrounding one of the most influential science-fiction film series ever produced.
Today, the site also serves as a nostalgic archive of a particular moment in film culture: the long wait for a major franchise revival. By revisiting the speculation, rumors, and hopes that surrounded the project before its eventual transformation into Jurassic World, the site offers a unique snapshot of fan enthusiasm in the early 2010s.
Origins and Ownership
JurassicPark4-Movie.com was created by an independent fan who registered the domain during a time when interest in the fourth film was resurging. The project appears to have been conceived as both a news portal and a preservation effort. When the domain later became available again, the current owner reacquired it specifically to recreate archived versions of the earlier site and preserve its content.
This approach reflects a broader trend in internet culture in which enthusiasts restore older fan sites as digital artifacts. By reconstructing earlier versions of the website using archived materials, the owner ensured that the discussions, speculation, and commentary surrounding Jurassic Park 4 would remain accessible.
The decision to restore rather than reinvent the site also underscores the cultural significance of early internet fan communities. Many such sites from the late 1990s and early 2000s disappeared as social media platforms replaced traditional forums and independent fan blogs. Rebuilding JurassicPark4-Movie.com effectively preserved a small piece of that earlier web culture.
The Jurassic Park Franchise Context
To understand the significance of JurassicPark4-Movie.com, it is important to recognize the cultural impact of the Jurassic Park franchise itself. The series began with the groundbreaking 1993 film directed by Steven Spielberg. Based on the novel by Michael Crichton, Jurassic Park revolutionized visual effects by combining animatronics with cutting-edge computer-generated imagery to bring dinosaurs to life on screen.
The film became a global phenomenon, grossing over $1 billion worldwide and winning three Academy Awards for technical achievements. Its success spawned two sequels: The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) and Jurassic Park III (2001). While both films were commercially successful, the franchise entered a prolonged hiatus afterward.
During the 2000s, rumors about a fourth film circulated continuously. Scripts were reportedly drafted and discarded multiple times, and various directors were linked to the project. These rumors created a fertile environment for fan websites like JurassicPark4-Movie.com, which sought to track every development.
The Long Development of Jurassic Park 4
The concept of a fourth film began taking shape in the early 2000s. Universal Pictures expressed interest in continuing the franchise, but the creative direction remained uncertain for years. Several script ideas were proposed, including controversial concepts involving genetically engineered human-dinosaur hybrids.
By the early 2010s, momentum around the project began building again. Producer Frank Marshall confirmed that development was underway, and industry publications started reporting on possible release dates. At various points, director Joe Johnston—who directed Jurassic Park III—was rumored to return to helm the new installment.
This period of renewed speculation coincided with the growth of online fan communities discussing the franchise’s future. JurassicPark4-Movie.com emerged during this stage as a platform that tracked rumors, analyzed interviews, and reported on industry developments.
Site Structure and Content
JurassicPark4-Movie.com was organized similarly to many early fan news websites. Its layout centered around regularly updated blog posts covering the latest rumors and announcements about the film’s production.
Typical sections included:
-
News posts discussing casting rumors, interviews, and industry reports
-
Articles exploring potential dinosaur species that could appear in the film
-
Behind-the-scenes discussions of animatronics and visual effects
-
Comment sections where visitors debated theories and predictions
-
Image galleries related to the franchise
One notable aspect of the site was its focus on speculation about newly discovered dinosaur species. Articles frequently discussed paleontological discoveries that fans hoped might inspire new creatures in the upcoming movie. These posts blended scientific curiosity with cinematic speculation, reflecting the franchise’s long-standing connection to real dinosaur research.
Fan Community and Audience
The audience for JurassicPark4-Movie.com consisted primarily of devoted Jurassic Park fans who had followed the franchise since the original film’s release in the 1990s. Many visitors were members of online fan forums or collectors of dinosaur memorabilia.
The comment sections reveal a lively community engaged in debates about the direction of the franchise. Topics frequently included:
-
Whether original cast members should return
-
Which dinosaurs deserved more screen time
-
How realistic the science in the films should be
-
Which director might best capture the spirit of the original movie
These discussions illustrate the strong emotional connection many fans have to the franchise. For many viewers, Jurassic Park represented a defining cinematic experience of their childhood, and the possibility of a fourth film generated both excitement and concern about preserving the legacy of the series.
Coverage of Cast and Production Rumors
A significant portion of the website’s content focused on interviews with actors associated with the original films. Fans were particularly interested in whether key cast members such as Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum might return.
Entertainment journalists often asked these actors about their potential involvement in a new film. Even vague responses were closely analyzed by fans seeking clues about the project’s direction.
The site also tracked rumors about production budgets, filming locations, and release schedules. Some reports suggested that the new film might feature a significantly larger budget than earlier entries in the series. Such speculation fueled excitement about the possibility of more ambitious visual effects and large-scale dinosaur sequences.
Connection to Paleontology and Dinosaur Culture
One of the unique aspects of the Jurassic Park franchise is its connection to real paleontological discoveries. Since the original film’s release, scientists have uncovered numerous new dinosaur species and gained deeper insights into dinosaur behavior and anatomy.
JurassicPark4-Movie.com frequently highlighted these discoveries, speculating about whether newly identified species might appear in the upcoming film. Discussions included creatures such as feathered dinosaurs, massive herbivores, and smaller predators discovered in fossil beds around the world.
This blending of science and entertainment reflects the broader cultural influence of the franchise. Many paleontologists have noted that the original Jurassic Park film inspired a new generation of scientists who grew up fascinated by dinosaurs.
The Transition from Jurassic Park 4 to Jurassic World
The long development cycle eventually culminated in a major shift for the franchise. Rather than continuing the numbering of the original trilogy, the filmmakers decided to launch a new chapter under a different title.
Director Colin Trevorrow and Universal Pictures chose the name Jurassic World to signal a fresh direction while still honoring the legacy of the earlier films. The new movie would depict a fully operational dinosaur theme park decades after the events of the original story.
This rebranding effectively transformed the long-rumored “Jurassic Park 4” into a new franchise era. The film was released in 2015 and became a massive box office success, earning more than $1.6 billion worldwide.
For fans who had followed years of speculation, the release represented the culmination of a long journey. Sites like JurassicPark4-Movie.com had documented nearly every rumor and development leading up to that moment.
Cultural Significance of Fan Sites
JurassicPark4-Movie.com reflects a broader phenomenon in internet culture: the rise of fan-driven media coverage. Before the dominance of social media platforms, independent websites often served as primary hubs for niche communities.
These sites allowed enthusiasts to share information, debate theories, and connect with others who shared their interests. In many cases, fan sites were among the earliest sources of news about upcoming films, especially when official announcements were scarce.
Such platforms also played an important role in preserving internet history. By archiving discussions, rumors, and speculation, they captured the evolving expectations and emotions of fan communities.
Popularity and Visibility
While JurassicPark4-Movie.com was not an official studio website, it attracted attention within the online fan community. Search engines often surfaced the site when users looked for updates about the long-delayed film.
The popularity of the Jurassic Park franchise meant that even small fan sites could attract significant traffic during periods of renewed media attention. Whenever new rumors surfaced or industry interviews appeared, interest in the project spiked.
Entertainment bloggers and forum users occasionally referenced sites like JurassicPark4-Movie.com when discussing the latest developments. This network of interconnected fan communities helped keep the conversation alive during the franchise’s long hiatus.
The Role of Nostalgia
Nostalgia played a major role in the site’s appeal. For many fans, revisiting discussions about Jurassic Park 4 evokes memories of the years when the film existed only as a possibility.
During that period, the internet was filled with speculation about how the story might continue. Would the park be rebuilt? Would dinosaurs spread across the mainland? Would the original characters return?
JurassicPark4-Movie.com captured these questions in real time. Reading the archived posts today offers a fascinating glimpse into the expectations fans had before the release of Jurassic World.
Relationship to the Broader Jurassic Park Fan Community
The site was part of a larger network of Jurassic-themed fan platforms. Other websites and forums also tracked news about the franchise, including discussions about merchandise, novels, video games, and theme park attractions.
Together, these communities formed a global fan culture centered on dinosaurs and science fiction storytelling. The enduring popularity of the franchise ensured that discussions continued even during the long gap between films.
Legacy of the Website
Although JurassicPark4-Movie.com began as a news and speculation hub, its lasting value lies in its role as a digital time capsule. The site documents the hopes and theories that surrounded one of Hollywood’s most anticipated sequels.
Today, it stands as a reminder of how passionate fan communities can sustain interest in a franchise for years. Even when official information was scarce, fans continued to discuss possible storylines, dinosaur designs, and casting choices.
The website’s restoration using archived materials ensures that this chapter of internet history remains accessible. In doing so, it preserves the excitement that once surrounded the mysterious project known simply as Jurassic Park 4.
JurassicPark4-Movie.com represents more than just a fan blog about a movie sequel. It reflects the power of online communities to sustain enthusiasm for beloved stories across decades.
Created during a period of uncertainty about the future of the Jurassic Park franchise, the site offered fans a place to gather information, share speculation, and celebrate their love of dinosaurs and adventure storytelling. Through news posts, comment threads, and archived materials, it documented the long road that eventually led to the release of Jurassic World.
The site also highlights the importance of preserving early internet fan culture. Independent websites like this one played a crucial role in shaping online communities before the rise of modern social media platforms.
By restoring and maintaining JurassicPark4-Movie.com, its owner ensured that this piece of fandom history would not disappear. For longtime fans of the franchise, exploring the site offers a nostalgic journey back to the years when the return of Jurassic Park was still an exciting mystery.
